In presenting 10 of Dublin’s most historic buildings, we encounter the great periods of building activity, the people involved, and the institutions that inhabited these buildings. Behind the faades is the story of Dublin, bringing to life key events and characters from the past. The buildings include: Christ Church Cathedral; Dublin Castle; Trinity College Dublin; the Old Parliament House (Bank of Ireland); City Hall; Kilmainham Gaol; St James’ Gate Brewery; the iconic GPO; the Abbey Theatre; and Croke Park.
